Macaroni Au Gratin



Terjumpa resepi ni kat Rinnchan's fotopages masa jalan2 cari resepi hari tu....


MACARONI AU GRATIN

Ingredients :
200 gm macaroni..boiled till softened
70 gm Parmesan Cheese.....I used sliced cheese

Filling
200 gm chicken, prawn, squid, fish fillet.....cubed
50 gm minced meat
1 potato....sliced thinly
1 onion..preferably the white (yellow) onion..chopped
2 tsp black pepper

White Sauce
4 tbsp butter
5 tbsp wheat flour
2 1/2 cups fresh milk
1/2 cube chicken stock (melt with 1/2 cup of warm water)
2/3 tsp salt

Instruction:
1. Fry the mixture for the filling. Pour in some water to soften the potato faster. Keep aside.
2. For the white sauce, melt the butter over a medium flame. Put in flour and continue whisking not to let the batter crumbled. Pour in milk, chicken stock mixture and salt.
3. Pour in the filling mixture, stir well for a while and off the fire.
4. Mix together white sauce with the macaroni. Pour into desired casserole and sprinkle cheese on top. Then bake at 220 deg C for 15~20 mins.
5. May be eaten as it is or with chilli sauce.


My version:
- semua main agak2 aje tak timbang2 pun
- me guna isi ayam
- kentang diparut kasar (cepat sikit masak)
- carrot diparut kasar (so that AN tak boleh pilih2 kena makan carrot :D)
- added some button mushrooms
- low fat milk
- sliced cheddar cheese and sprinkle some parmesan on top...hikhikhik tak cukup2 tu...

Me masak ni for dinner sebab dah tak tau nak masak apa hehehee. Sedaaaapppp... DH kata sedap, DDs kata sedap...me? kembang la...tak kuncup2 dah...
